Yes - A visa is required for travel to Armenia

A valid passport and visa are required to travel to Armenia. Though a diplomatic visa may be obtained upon arrival; the visa requirement waiver is practiced on an ad hoc basis, and is not formalized by a bilateral agreement. It is recommended to apply for this visa in advance.

Passport Requirements:

Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Armenia, with at least one blank passport page available for available for nationality visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Armenia visas.

Armenia Visa Application Form:

One Armenia visa application form per applicant. Signature must be original on application. After placing your order, fill out the application form included in your Visa Application Kit.

Photo Requirements:

One recent (taken within the last 6 months) 2 x 2 color photo, front view and with a plain/light background.


OR - you can upload a photo when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.

Other Forms:

Official Letter of Support from the US Department of State.

The US State Department strongly encourages American citizens planning international travel to register with the US Embassy(s) in the countries they plan to visit. Registration notifies the US Embassy in each country of your travel plans and enrolls you in the State Department travel advisory and warnings program.
